Our ECS (endocannabinoid system) is one of the most important systems in the body, you see my article on why here. Yes clinical endocannabinoid deficiency syndrome (CEDS) is a thing, as a matter of fact here is a fantastic study to support it, written by the godfather of cannabis himself. When our ECS is balanced and functioning at optimal levels we have homeostasis, or a better chance of it at least. This means supporting our body with proper nutrition, exercise and yes supplementing when needed. Of course there are other factors such as drug abuse, genetic components (we test for that), environmental factors, toxin overload, and lack of supportive nutrients like Omega 3’s.

One common factor in this is inflammation, do you seem to have a lot of inflammation but can’t quite figure out why? It could be CEDS. We have seen improvement of conditions such as fibromyalgia, migraines, IBS, hormone imbalances (it’s a bit fo a stretch but the data is still young). I’m not saying it’s the cause of everything or that cannabinoid therapy is a cure all, it isn’t. What we do know is that the body of evidence grows exponentially with each passing day.
